Project Hero is proud to announce the inaugural Project Hero Bend Mountain Bike Challenge to be held September 5 through 8 in beautiful Bend, Oregon!
The ride will be highlighted by three days of riding in Bend on some of the world’s best mountain biking trails and terrain. This ride is open to beginner mountain bikers and seasoned veteran riders as well. Trail guides and a shuttle service make this a truly epic three day event for our nations healing heroes. Project Hero veteran and first responder riders throughout the nation are being given the chance to participate through fundraising HERE.
“The riders will feel the therapeutic effects of cycling and the incredible healing impact benefits of being in nature that will help them achieve the hope, recovery, and resilience that is Project Hero’s mission,” said Dennis Connors, Project Hero Portland HUB leader. “Project Hero is thrilled to bring veterans to central Oregon for what will be three days of healing and transformative riding. We will deliver an unforgettable experience and ensure our riders have the resources to support mental, physical and emotional healing and growth.”
