Another veteran, Richard Arthur introduced me to what was then Ride2Recovery.

What has Project Hero Helped you do?
PH has given me purpose to help other veterans heal, lose weight, stay healthy over the years.
What are your goals for the West Texas VA HUB for 2019? : I recently got back from a 500+ mile, off-road, fully self-supported, bikepacking trip the fellow HUB member John Carter and another friend from west Texas. This 9-day trip was a huge success for us and we would like to introduce more of our veterans to this type of cycling experice. We would like to start planning on a 3-day event for the near future.

Any words of wisdom for your fellow Veterans?
Keep riding, stay positive, and be there for each other, always!
