3. Participant's past history on Challenges

4. Participation in your HUB or Strava

ABOUT THE RIDE

Project Hero is returning to the Great Lakes region in 2017 but with a new route. Cyclists will depart from Minneapolis, MN, making their way to Chicago.

This ride is a Category "C" (Not as Difficult)

PARTICIPATION

The rides will be limited to 150 participants with a minimum $4,000 fee to cover your costs. There is an active duty military or VA employee discount of 50% ($2,000 required fee). Your $80 registration will be applied to the total you raise.

All Wounded Warriors and First Responders ride for free by invitation only and must register to be considered for invitation. See below for invitation criteria.

Full week Challenge participants will receive a Project Hero jersey, bib, socks, and t-shirt, as well as hotel housing, rider support, luggage transportation (70lbs max), daily route guides, marked course, rest stops, hydration and meals. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the event. There may also be nighttime entertainment on selected evenings.

SINGLE DAY RIDE

If you are unable to join us for the entire ride you may participate in any one day of the Challenge. The cost for a single day ride is $100 and includes a t-shirt, mechanical support, and hydration/snacks. ONE DAY RIDER REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY 6:00 PM On August 5, 2017. ABSOLUTELY NO "DAY OF EVENT" REGISTRATION.

VOLUNTEERS

All volunteers must register online. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here. We will be in touch to confirm your role. Please note that signing up to volunteer does not guarantee you a spot as a volunteer. Volunteers are chosen based on specific needs for a ride.
